About my time Peru:

In 2018, I had the chance to travel to Peru for an adventure I’ll never forget. We started our journey in Lima, exploring the vibrant neighborhoods of Miraflores and Barranco, trying ceviche from local markets, and taking in the coastal views. From there, we flew to Cuzco to acclimate to the altitude and immerse ourselves in the city’s deep Incan and colonial roots. Then came the highlight: a four-day, three-night trek through the Andes, hiking rugged mountain passes and camping under the stars with our group. The journey was challenging but incredibly rewarding, with breathtaking views, quiet moments in nature, and stories shared over camp meals. Reaching Aguas Calientes and finally stepping into the ancient citadel of Machu Picchu felt surreal, a powerful reminder of human history and resilience. That trip pushed me physically and mentally, and it sparked a love for cultural travel and the outdoors that’s stuck with me ever since.
